Trade as WOB Competitions and hereby referred to as ‘The Company’.
WOB Competitions is a raffle-based company, raffling off a range of fantastic prizes including watches, lifestyle/events and accessorises.
1. How to enter
1.1 To enter a competition available on the WOB competitions website you will be asked to agree to these terms and conditions.
1.2 Select a competition or competitions available on the website and answer the multiple-choice question below to ensure your ticket/s are valid. Choose the number of tickets from 1 to up 10 per transaction/ individual competition.
1.3 Create an online account and submitting the online entry form and payment of provided on www.wobcompetitions.co.uk by closing date.
1.4 In order to enter a competition by postal entry, send one handwritten stamped postcard with details including, the competition entering, correct answer relating to competition, name, date of birth, full address, email address and contact number to 27 Gay Street, Bath, Ba1 2PD. All postcards must state the entrant accepts the terms and conditions as stated.
1.5 Postcards send by special delivery cannot to be signed for and will not be accepted.
1.6 Postal entries are limited to 1 free entry per competition, per person/ account, per postcard.
1.7 Postal entry entrants still need to create an online account.
1.8 WOB Competitions Limited reserve the right to reject any postal entries sent after the closing date of the competition entered.
1.9 All draws will be have a ticket picked at random by a tested random number generator algorithm.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK [aged 18 years or over], except:
2.1.1. employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies.
2.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
2.3.The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
2.3.1.automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
2.3.2.completed by third parties or in bulk;
2.3.3.illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
2.3.4.photocopies and not originals; or
2.3.5.incomplete.
2.4.There is a limit of [10 per person]. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.]
3. The prizes
3.1. The prizes will be available on the website with details of the prizes. Draw dates will be set when a competition sells out unless a draw date has been set. We guarantee that WOB Competitions will never extend a competition and the full prize will be given away.
3.2. Draw dates will be shown on website and social platforms.
3.3. There is no cash alternative for the lifestyle/ events prizes but there will be a cash alternative for watch prizes. The winner must inform WOB Competitions they would prefer the cash alternative within 24 hours of the draw.
3.4. To claim the prize, you must contact admin@wobcompetitions.co.uk with your details, ticket number and proof of valid photo ID.
3.5. The Promoter will not accept:
3.5.1. responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
3.5.2. proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
4. Winners
4.1. The decision of the judges nominated by the Promoter (WOB Competitions) is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered.
4.2. The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
4.3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the surname, county and winning entry of prize winners on www.wobcompetitions.co.uk on Announcement Date as provided on website or social platforms.
4.4. There will be a live draw on website and social platforms for every competition.
5. Claiming the prize
5.1. Please refer to the details of how to claim in condition [reference 4] The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
5.2. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 28 of days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
5.3. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize in accordance with these conditions.
6. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights
6.1. All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned.
6.2. By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:
6.2.1. assign absolutely to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights held in the competition entry with full title guarantee; and
6.2.2. waive absolutely all moral rights, in and to your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.]
7. Data protection and publicity

7.2.If entrant of a competition shares information of win to local press or other media the entrant must inform WOB Competitions by admin@wobcompetitions.co.uk so all materials to be shared can be approved.
8. Refunds
8.1. Refunds will only be provided in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of WOB Competitions only, following a full review of your use of the website and the information you were presented with and provided as part of your entry.
9. General
9.1.If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
9.2.The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.3.These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
